Your DUI is worth fighting for!

Criminal convictions are serious and can have lasting and costly effects in your life, especially in the areas of job applications, professional licensing, insurance rates, etc. Those who don’t contest their DUI charges become victims to The System.

  • I personally attend the DMV Suspension Hearing for my clients.
  • I personally appear for my clients in Court as many times as necessary to obtain the best result for each client.
  • My clients typically never appear in Court with me.
  • 99% of my clients never spend another minute in jail.

I would like to offer you a free 1-hour initial consultation with me over the phone or in person and a free immediate DMV hearing request via fax. My goal is to reduce your anxiety and help you sleep better tonight by providing you with specific information about what you can expect and how much control you have over your case.

Take advantage of my offer as soon as possible since you only have 10-days from the date of your arrest to contact the DMV to properly prevent the automatic suspension of your driver license.

  • What made you choose a career in criminal law?

I obtained my B.A. degree in Criminal Justice, but I didn’t find satisfaction in law enforcement. I discovered that my strong sense of justice necessitated that I fight for individuals as an attorney so they don’t have to stand alone against the system.
  • In your opinion, what sets your firm apart from other firms in the area?

My clients get my best efforts 100% of the time. I am directly involved throughout every stage, and I don’t give up until I get the best results possible.
  • Tell us about a case that you are particularly proud of:

In one case, I defended a client against 5 open DUI cases simultaneously in 3 different counties throughout California, reducing her legal exposure of 10 years in state prison, 8 years in county jail, and $30,000 in fines to less than 1 year county jail and other lesser penalties.
  • What steps do you take to prepare for a difficult case?

I make sure to take the time and energy to discover the facts, evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the evidence, and analyze the best Judge & District Attorney to obtain the best resolution. I try honey before vinegar, which often yields the best results in our currently overburdened adversarial criminal justice system.
  • How do you view your role in the attorney-client relationship?

I don’t tell a client to “Shut-up, get behind me, and do as I tell you to do.” I act as the client’s advocate, expert, coordinator, and counselor to keep this a small speed bump in their life, not a brick-wall that they will hit.
  • What sets you apart from other criminal defense attorneys - why is this important?

I only defend DUI cases. I approach all of my clients with compassion and unequaled dedication to obtaining the best possible results for them. I personally handle all aspects of the client’s case (fact interview, the DMV hearing and every court hearing versus sending less-experienced or appearance attorneys like many firms). I offer a 1-hour free initial consultation and free faxed hearing request to the DMV. My initial focus is on reducing my client's anxiety by providing them a sense of control and carefully reviewing the process/timeline/best-worst case scenarios. Most of my clients never appear in court or at the DMV. I do not charge my clients up-front for the trial phase of the case and do not limit the length of time or number of appearances for my non-refundable flat fee.
  • In your opinion, what is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Reducing client’s anxiety, holding their hand throughout the process, defending them against the government’s power, and obtaining excellent results by eliminating the bulk of their legal exposure.
